Terry Marks is the T in tmarks. Tmarks crafts brands and experiences for companies ranging from Microsoft Stores to DC Comics and more. Terry is expert at creating powerful and evocative connections ranging from the verbal to the visual, from physical to the digital and making it memorable.
Terry is an award-winning designer with laurels from the likes of Communication Arts, HOW, Print, Critique, Neenah, Taschen Books and more. He has judged a number of national and regional design competitions and is a published author, twice for Rockport Publishers and yet his favorite might be Mr. Crumbly Dreams a Tiger for O’Neil Printing + Rule29.
Terry is a Fellow of AIGA Seattle and has served on the National Board of AIGA, the organization of design. He serves on the Board of Good Thinking Atlanta and the Advisory Board for the Pacific Lutheran University School of Arts and Communications. He has spoken to scores of organizations across the US on creativity, diversity, and social impact.

Community
Tmarks has long believed that the backbone of society and a good life is not simply being part of a community, but taking part in community. It’s in our DNA and a source of joy. We endeavor to help power ideas and forces for good.
One of our favorites is The Link Program. It’s an outreach of AIGA Seattle that began way back in 1994 and helps high school students express themselves in art and build self-esteem. It’s wonderful. If you have the means, we highly suggest you check Link out.
Terry was awarded SAPPI Ideas That Matter Grants on behalf of ASTAR for Autism and the YES! Foundation – and in 2018 judged the ITM grants for SAPPI.
It’s been our good fortune to collaborate with many organizations that work for good. Did we say ‘good’ too many times? That’s because there’s so much of it:
Art With Heart
Nimbus Arts
Refugee Artisan Initiative
YES! Foundation of White Center
Make A Wish
ASTAR for Autism
Justice and Soul Foundation
