Mr. Crumbly Dreams A Tiger

Mr. Crumbly Dreams a Tiger is a story about fear and desire. Designed and illustrated by, well, me it tells the story of a simple guy whose life is interrupted by a dream that plagues him.
It looks alot like a children’s story – and kids seem to love it – but the story is for anyone who finds themselves feeling trapped, hesitant or unable to move to where they know they should be or to move in the direction they want.
It was inspired by a bit from C.S. Lewis, who said many pithy things. Among them, “If doing without is any part of our modern belief then I submit it has crept in from Kant and the Stoics, and should have no part of our faith. For if we consider for an instant the unblushing promises of heaven laid out for us in the Gospels, I would observe that our desires are not too great, but too weak. We are like children making mudpies in the slum because we cannot imagine the offer of a holiday at sea. We desire too little.”
Thanks are owed to O’Neill Printing in Phoenix but especially Justin Ahrens of Rule 29 who believed in my abilities enough to give me a platform. Yes, it’s won awards and such, but the simple fact is it is creation of which I am very proud.
